MassCEC's Workforce Capacity Building is a $640,000 initiative targeted towards increasing the ability of Massachusetts vocational-technical high schools, colleges, universities and community-based non-profit groups to meet the workforce needs of the Commonwealth’s clean energy sector. The programs include curriculum and course development, professional development, an internship and apprenticeship program, hands-on instruction training and dual enrollment programs.
Total funding available for this program is $640,000, with $320,000 available to award up to six Workforce Capacity Building programs awards and$320,000 available to award up to two dual enrollment programs, which allow high school students to take college courses.
